Play Games are electronic machines of OPAP used for the conduct of games of chance. You will find them in Play stores and in selected OPAP agencies. Both the Play Games and the games of chance offered through them have been certified by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC).
The Games Guide is available on the above listed certified Play stores during the following operating hours:
• Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 am to 2:00 am (of the next day); and
• Friday & Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 am (of the next day)

A necessary condition for a person to participate in the games of chance offered through Play Games is that he/she is above 21 years old, that he/she has completed the registration process and that he/she has received the necessary Individual Player Card (IPC). The player acknowledges the terms of issuance, management and operation of the IPC and of the relevant Contract of Accession, while he/she may address the personnel of the stores for any relevant question that he/she may have. For the issuance of an Individual Player Card (IPC), the player shall present one of the following supporting documents in force:
• ID card (for countries within the Schengen area)
Furthermore, every customer shall determine personal loss and time limits before starting playing at the Play Games. It shall be noted that those players who have chosen to be self-excluded for a certain time period are excluded from any relevant activity.
The IPC is strictly personal. Its transfer or the concession of its use to third parties, as well as the disclosure of the player’s personal identification number (PIN), are prohibited.
Based on the current legislative framework, the minimum entry amount is €0.10, and the maximum one is €2.00.

The Greek games of chance market is supervised by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC). The HGC is an independent administrative authority, competent for the regulation, supervision and control of the games of chance conducted in Greek territory. All companies conducting games of chance, which are operating legitimately in Greece, fall under its jurisdiction.
All Play Games of OPAP have been certified by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC).
The players may address the personnel of the stores (Play stores or OPAP agencies with Play Games), which has been trained accordingly and can answer their questions. Furthermore, one will find at the stores informational material (games guides), with clear instructions on their conduct rules, as well as with information on the winning chances for each game. The games guides are placed on this website and at the prominent points inside the certified store.
Every time a player wishes to participate in games of chance through OPAP's Play Games, the stores' personnel (either in Play stores or in OPAP agencies with Play Games) shall be obliged to request the presentation of any type of identity document (Greek or foreign one) bearing a photo, and identifying the player (e.g. identity card, driver's license or any other public document which indicates the date of birth).
Every player can be self-excluded from Play Games, if he/she so wishes. Self-exclusion is carried out following a self-exclusion request by the player (either before the issuance of the Individual Player Card or after); thus, the operation of the Player's Online Account is suspended and his/her participation in games of chance through Play Games is prohibited. Every player may submit a self-exclusion request after the issuance of his/her Individual Player Card for:
⇛ Indefinite self-exclusion
⇛ Self-exclusion for a particular time period
In any case, it is not possible to revoke the self-exclusion before a 6-month time period lapses, as set out by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) in the Regulation.
The entry and stay of persons under 21 years of age, in Play stores or in the distinct place where the Play Games are installed at the selected OPAP agencies, is strictly prohibited, even when they are accompanied by an adult over 21 years of age.
